Privacy
These sites track public information about companies. They collect very little about you: an email address only when you ask for one of their briefings, and standard analytics. Nothing is sold, and nothing is used for advertising.
What is collected
- Your email address, if you subscribe to a site's briefing. With it we keep when you signed up and confirmed, and a scrambled (salted, one-way) form of your network address, used only to stop a script from signing up hundreds of addresses. Your actual IP address is never stored.
- A correction, if you send one: what you wrote, the page it was about, your browser's name, the same scrambled network address, and your email address only if you chose to give it.
- Analytics: the sites use Google Analytics to count visits. It records the pages viewed, the referring site, your approximate location (city or country), device and browser, using cookies. Google processes this under its own policy; you can block it with any content blocker, or Google's opt-out add-on, and every site works the same without it.
- Preferences in your browser: the light or dark theme and which columns you folded are kept in your own browser's storage and never sent to us.
Where it is kept
Each site keeps its own subscribers and corrections in its own database, hosted by Turso. The sites run on Vercel, which keeps short-lived request logs. Briefing emails are delivered by Resend. These providers handle the data only to run the sites; it is never shared with anyone else.
Emails
Signing up sends one confirmation email, and nothing more arrives until you click it. Each site says how often it writes, and writes only when there is news. context.fru.dev collects addresses for its daily briefing but does not send any email yet.
Unsubscribing and deletion
- Every briefing email has an Unsubscribe link at the bottom, and supports your mail app's one-click unsubscribe button. Either stops all email from that site at once.
- To have your address or a correction deleted completely, or to ask what we hold about you, write to fru.dev3@gmail.com from that address. It is deleted within 30 days, usually much sooner.
The data on the sites
The sites publish information about companies and public organizations from their own pages and official filings, each item linked to its source. They do not publish personal details about private individuals. If something about you or your company is wrong, use the site's Report a correction link, or write to the address above.
